This new symphony – a worthy ‘hommage’ to a lost work by one of the finest compositional craftsmen of the 20th century - is David Briggs’ most substantial work for organ solo to date. Full of colour and drama, it represents a significant addition to the contemporary repertoire. Recorded in St Paul's Cathedral on 2nd September 2004.
